- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — calls, SMS, chats with our team.

How We Use Information
- Provide and improve cleaning services and customer support.
- Send confirmations, reminders, and service-related updates.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Comply with law and enforce policies.
Sharing
We share data with trusted service providers to operate our business (e.g., payment processors, scheduling, communications). We do not sell personal data.

Contractor Information
For contractor applicants, we collect additional information including:
- Background check results from ClearChecks (consumer reporting agency)
- Identity verification via Stripe Identity (government ID check)
- Tax information (SSN/EIN) collected by Stripe Connect for 1099 filing — we do not store SSN directly
- Proof of liability insurance (uploaded documents)
- Work authorization status
- Banking information for direct deposit payments (stored securely by Stripe)
This information is used solely for vetting, compliance, and payment purposes. Background check information is kept confidential per Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements. Contractor data is retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. See our Independent Contractor Agreement for details.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Customer booking data is retained for 3 years. Contractor data is retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Choices below).
Your Choices
- Opt-out of marketing SMS at any time by texting STOP.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@hypercleantx.com.
- Control cookies via our cookie consent banner or your browser settings.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know — You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale — We do not sell personal information. If this practice changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link and update this policy.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@hypercleantx.com.
Data Security & Breach Notification
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and the Texas Attorney General in accordance with the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code, Chapter 521). Notification will be provided without unreasonable delay and no later than 60 days after discovery of the breach.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
